Bweha au mbweha ni mojawapo wa wanyama wadogo kiasi wa familia Canidae wanaopatikana Afrika, Amerika, Asia na Ulaya na walioainishwa katika jenasi Canis, Cerdocyon, Lycalopex, Otocyon, Urocyon na Vulpes.
Spishi za bweha katika jenasi Canis zina mnasaba sana na mbwa-mwitu. Kwa ukweli, siku hizi Canis anthus na Canis aureus zinafikiriwa kuwa mbwa-mwitu[1][2], lakini kwa sasa jina "bweha" litadumishwa kwa sababu linatumika sana.
