Didimo Kipofu
Didimo Kipofu (313 hivi - 398 hivi)[1]) alikuwa mwanateolojia maarufu wa Aleksandria (Misri) ambapo aliongoza chuo cha katekesi kwa karibu miaka 50.
Ingawa hakuweza kuona, alikuwa na kumbukumbu kali sana, hata akaweza kumudu fani zinazofaidika sana na matumizi ya macho.
Aliandika vitabu vingi: Ufafanuzi wa Zaburi zote, wa Injili ya Mathayo na wa Injili ya Yohane, kitabu Dhidi ya Waario, na Juu ya Roho Mtakatifu, ambavyo Jeromu alivitafsiri katika Kilatini. Pia aliandika juu ya Isaya, Hosea, Zekaria, Ayubu na mada nyingine nyingi.[2]
Bahati mbaya, kati ya maandishi ya ufafanuzi ya Didimo, yanayofikiriwa kuhusu vitabu vyote vya Biblia ya Kikristo, vimetufikia vipande tu. Hata hivyo vinatosha kushuhudia upana wa ujuzi wake.
