Mfariji au Mtetezi au Msaidizi ni tafsiri ya neno la Kigiriki παράκλητος, parakletos[1][2] (kwa Kiingereza "Paraclete" na kwa Kilatini paracletus) lililotumiwa na Yesu Kristo kadiri ya Injili ya Yohane (14:15-27).

Wakristo toka mwanzo[3] wameona kuwa linamhusu Roho Mtakatifu[4] kama njia ya Yesu kuendelea kuwepo kati ya wanafunzi wake baada ya kufa na kufufuka[5][6][7][8][5][9]

Waislamu wengi wamejaribu kuonyesha kwamba Yesu alitabiri ujio wa Muhammad kama mbadala wake[10].

Wakristo wanajibu kwamba Yesu alisema huyo Mfariji mwingine ataishi nao na kuwa "ndani" yao, kitu ambacho kinawezekana kwa roho (Roho Mtakatifu), lakini si kwa mtu (mwenye mwili kama Muhammad).
