Namubiru Rose Kirumira (alizaliwa 28 Oktoba 1962)[1] ni mchongaji wa sanamu na mhadhiri mkuu katika shule ya Margaret Trowell School of Industrial and Fine Arts (MTSIFA), katika chuo cha Makerere University.[2] Amejikita katika sanamu zenye maumbo ya kibinadamu,kuni zilizochongwa, udongo pamoja na saruji.
Kazi zake zinajumuisha sanamu ya King Ronald Mwenda Mutebi akiwa pamoja na mchongasanamu na profesa Francis Nnaggenda eneo la Bulange Mengo,[3] na familia yake Mulago Hospital nchini Kampala.[4]
Elimu
[hariri | hariri chanzo]Alichukua shahada na kuhitimu masomo yake katika chuo kikuu cha Makerere University ambapo pia alipata uzamivu. Tasnifu yake ilipewa jina la The Formation of Contemporary Visual Arts in Africa; Revisiting Residency Programmes.[5]

[hariri | hariri chanzo]Mnamo mwaka 2010 Rose Kirumira alichukua kazi ya utafiti, Visual Art Skills and Activities Towards Enhancing Teaching How to Begin Reading and Writing of Early Childhood Education in Uganda katika chuo kikuu cha Nkumba University.[6]Pia alikuwa sehemu ya utafiti wa Write a Story kwa ajili ya Rockefeller Foundation na the Makerere Institute of Social Research.[7] mnamo mwaka 2005, alikshiriki utafiti wa 8 Teachers Booklets: An Approach to Teaching Beginners of Reading and Writing at Lower Primary School in Uganda, a Makerere Institute of Social Research project for the Rockefeller Foundation.[7] 35 illustrated Children's Stories hii pia ilikuwa utafiti wa mwaka 2005 ya Makerere University/Rockefeller Foundation kwa ajili ya shule za msingi 450 nchini Uganda ambayo ilikuwa miongoni mwa.[7]kazi za Rose Kirumira A Model for an Indigenous Ceramic Ware Cottage Industry,utafiti wa mwaka 2003 katika shule ya Margaret Trowell school of Industrial and Fine Arts, a Makerere University/Japan AICAD project.[7]
