Jibini nchini Kenya
Jibini nchini Kenya imezalishwa angalau tangu mwanzoni mwa karne ya 20, lakini awali ilinunuliwa hasa na jamii ya Wazungu na kwa kiasi fulani na Wahindi. Baadaye, tasnia ya utalii ilianza kununua jibini kuwahudumia wageni wao wa ng'ambo.
Wakenya asilia walifuata polepole, lakini mahitaji kutoka sekta hii ya soko yalianza kuongezeka katika miaka ya 1980, wakati tabaka la kati lilikuza hamu ya jibini[1] na ya vifundiro kutoka kwa maziwa, kama vile yoghurt k.m.
Mwanzoni mwa karne ya 21 jibini imekuwa kawaida na kupatikana kwa urahisi. Juu ya hayo aina nyingi zaidi kuliko za kwanza za Cheddar na Gouda ziliuzwa.
Ukuaji huo wa soko la jibini nchini Kenya ulihimiza uanzishaji wa viwanda kadhaa vya kutengeneza jibini licha ya vile vilivyokuwapo tayari.
Siku hizi jibini ni bidhaa ya kawaida katika maduka makubwa na hata yale madogo. Cheddar na Gouda inaendelea kuwa aina maarufu sana lakini nyingine ni Feta, Mozzarella, Jibini Buluu, Brie, Camembert n.k.

- Raka Milk Processors[3]: imeanzishwa mwaka 2001, kiwanda kiko Nyeri, inazalisha cheddar, gouda, feta, jibini buluu, brie, mozzarella, halloumi, paneer na shrikand.
- Happy Cow Kenya[4]: imeanzishwa mwaka 1996, kiwanda kiko Nakuru, inazalisha cheddar, gouda, edam, tilsiter, red holland, black danbo, emmental, parmesan, jibini buluu, mozzarella, feta, paneer, ricotta, mascarpone na halloumi.
- Eldoville Dairies[5]: imeanzishwa mwaka 1985, kiwanda kiko Karen, inazalisha cheddar, feta, brie, camembert, mozzarella na paneer.
- New Kenya Co-operative Creameries[6]: imeanzishwa mwaka 1932, viwanda viko Eldoret, Kitale, Mombasa na Nyahururu, inazalisha cheddar na gouda.
- Sirimon Cheese[7]: imeanzishwa mwaka 2011, kiwanda kiko Nanyuki, inazalisha cheddar, gouda, mozzarella, feta na paneer.
- Doinyo Lessos Creameries[8]: imeanzishwa mwaka 1964, kiwanda kiko Eldoret, inazalisha cheddar, gouda, blue highland, red highland, gruyère, tilsiter, paneer, jeera, mozzarella, derbyshire, feta na ricotta.
