Ngazargamu

Ngazargamu, Birni Ngazargamu, Birnin Gazargamu, Gazargamo au N'gazargamu ulikuwa mji mkuu katika Dola la Bornu kutoka mwaka 1460 hivi hadi 1809. Iko kilomita 150 (93 mi) magharibi mwa Ziwa Chad katika Jimbo la Yobe nchini Nigeria ya sasa. Mabaki ya mji mkuu wa zamani bado yanaonekana.
Toponimia
[hariri | hariri chanzo]Sehemu ya kwanza ya N'gazargamu, ambayo ni N'gasar, inaonyesha kuwa wakazi wa awali wa eneo hilo walijulikana kama N'gasar au N'gizim.[1][2]
