Eva Josephine Jellett (8 Aprili 1880 – 2 Julai 1955) alikuwa mwanamke wa kwanza kuhitimu katika udaktari kutoka Chuo Kikuu cha Dublin.[1]

Jellett alizaliwa Wellington Row kwa John Hewitt Jellett ambaye alikuwa kasisi, mwanahisabati, na mkuu wa Chuo cha Trinity Dublin (TCD), na mkewe na binamu yake Dora Charlotte Morgan (1823-1911) ambaye alikuwa kutoka Tivoli, County Cork. Hapo awali Jellett alisomeshwa na watawala kutoka Ujerumani na baadaye kutumwa katika chuo cha Alexandra. Alikuwa mmoja wa wanafunzi wa kike wa mapema, akimaliza masomo mwaka1897, ambaye alihudhuria kozi katika Chuo Kikuu cha Kikatoliki cha Ireland Shule ya Tiba, St Cecilia St., Dublin.[2] Alihamia TCD mwaka wa 1904 mara tu wanawake waliporuhusiwa kuhudhuria chuo hicho.[3] Alihitimu na MB mnamo Septemba 1905 na kumfanya kuwa mwanamke wa kwanza wa Chuo Kikuu kuhitimu katika udaktari.[4] Mpwa wake alikuwa msanii Mainie Jellett.[5][6]

Baada ya kufanya kazi kama karani katika Hospitali ya Coombe huko Dublin, Jellet alihamia India mnamo 1906 kuchukua nafasi katika Misheni ya Chuo Kikuu cha Dublin huko Hazaribagh.[7] Mara tu alipowasili mwaka wa 1908 aliweza kuendesha hospitali mpya ya wanawake iliyoanzishwa, Hospitali ya Wanawake ya St Columba. Mnamo 1919 alipandishwa cheo na kuwa mshirika mkuu akimpa udhibiti wa wafanyakazi wote wa kike nchini India. Alijiuzulu kama mkuu mnamo 1923 na akarudi mnamo 1924 akiwa ametumia karibu wakati wake wote katika hospitali hiyo. Alikaa mwaka mmoja, 1917, katika hospitali ya kijeshi ya Uingereza huko Bombay.[8][9][10][11]

Baada ya kustaafu, Jellet alihamia Uswizi kwa miaka kadhaa kabla ya hatimaye kuhamia, c 1938, hadi Gorran Haven, St Austell, Cornwall. Hapo ndipo alipofariki.[12][13]
