Hilali Alexander Ruhundwa is a founder of audiobooks (simulizi za sauti) in Tanzania, journalist and Audio Books Narrator born Mukaliza Village, Mabawe Ward, Ngara District, Kagera Region in United Republic of Tanzania May 30, 1985. Living in Dar es Salaam a commercial city, he has been a radio general manager at Karagwe FM radio and Info FM Radio. In November 2015, he left his job from Info FM radio Mtwara and in October 2016 managed to register his own company Wazalendo Media Productions Ltd. The company was purposely for Audio Books popular known as Simulizi but later on the company added other activities. With his company and simulizi, in November 2016 he received invitation from Finnish government to attend Slush in Helsinki Finland as a journalist and startup. Hilali Alexander Ruhundwa, a founder of audiobooks (mwanzilishi wa simulizi za sauti) with co-founder Grorge Iron Mosenya (author) have been producing simulizi za sauti since 2010. It was when smartphones started entering in Tanzania with few users. They started distributing their simulizi through WhatsApp. Ruhundwa started recording his simulizi in 2010 and was air them in university radio called Mlimani Radio when he was a first year student at University of Dar es Salaam.
