Hi everyone! I am excited to be a part of the Kiswahili Wikipedia Challenge, sponsored by Google. I work at Google and am involved in our projects in Africa. We have launched this challenge to encourage universities and students in Kenya and Tanzania to create online content in Swahili. Wikipedia is a powerful place for local content, in your local language. Even when the challenge is complete, we hope people will be inspired to continue creating local content in their language.
