Filamu za noir
Filamu za noir ni aina ya filamu ambazo zilionekana sana katika miaka ya 1940 na 1950, hasa nchini Marekani. Zina sifa ya kuwa na hali ya giza, hadithi zinazohusisha uhalifu, na wahusika wenye tabia tata na mara nyingi wamejawa na maadili ya ovyo. Filamu hizi zinaangazia zaidi mazingira ya mijini, na mara nyingi hutumia mwanga na vivuli kwa namna yake ili kuunda hali ya huzuni na kutoaminiana.
"Noir" ni neno la Kifaransa linalomaanisha "giza" au "-eusi." Mfano maarufu wa filamu za noir ni kama vile "Double Indemnity" (1944), "The Maltese Falcon" (1941), na "Sunset Boulevard" (1950). Aina hii ya filamu ina ushawishi mkubwa na imeendelea kuathiri sinema hadi leo.
