English: "Roman Bridge" over the River Goyt at Strawberry Hill, near Marple, Greater Manchester. It was named the "Roman Bridge" by the Victorians but it's really a 17th-century packhorse bridge. The nearby "Roman Lakes" are another inaccurate but romantic Victorian coinage.
