Ibrahim Joseph Isaya Sumaye was born in 22-08-1987 in small village Getafye, at Laghandamur Village, ward of Bargish; Daudi division-Mbulu district in Manyara region located in Northern Tanzania. He was taken to school at 11th of age in 1997.
While at school for the first time; Ezekiel Hhando, the school committee chairperson refused to take him being registered at primary school because he seemed him that he was too young at a time; but he went out of the class and cried a lot of weeping publicly. His cousins wanted to take him back home. He refused to go back home at that time because he thought that his cousins wanted him staying home with kettles, culves and gardening.
He himself said, "he couldn't go back" he would like to stay at school, but he would be ready to be done for anything.
He looked inside of class, saw his friends, neighbours (pupils) waiting for the registration being admitted as standard one in 1997. Therefore, Ezekiel agreed with school committee members that they should take out two pupils so that Ibrahim should replace the position of one pupil in the class. Ezekiel made random interview and wrote number 1, 2 and 3 into small pieces of paper and said, "each of you should pick up one paper" and Ibrahim was the first person to pick up the paper.
But unfortunately, Ibrahim picked up the paper folded while feering where he did not know the purpose for that matter. Everyone slowly opened. Ibrahim opened his paper and met written number three. Then it was the time for everyone to show the number written. There were three pupils. There was a girl who maured enough, another one was a boy called Simon Sanka younger than Ibrahim.
Then Ezekiel went to the other persons asked them the numbers they have picked. The girl said she picked number one and Simon Sanka said he had picked number two. Ezekiel, the chairperson of school committee said, "Ibra, now because you have number three you have to go back home waiting for the next year 1998, so that we will admit you to study to be a standard one.
Because Ibra thought number 3 was greater than number 2 and 1, so he decided to stay there in class because of that idea. When he heared those words, from Ezekiel; he refused and cried before them and the select-pupils in 1997. Therefore he started standard one in 1997 and completed the primary education in 2003. Later on he was selected form one in 2004 out Daudi secondary school, the public school and then in 2004 he left the school started engaging in music so in 2004 he was taken to Imboru secondary school, Catholic school near Saint John Sanu seminary in Manyara. Ibrahim completed his ordinary education in 2008, at Imboru secondary school. In the following year 2009, he went to study at Mairiva high school in Arusha city.
Ibrahim Joseph Isaya Sumaye wrote the article April 8, 2020 and published May 19, 2020 the article is about "EFFECTS OF CHARCOAL USE IN TANZANIA"Environment is the most important compound that surrounds us. It includes trees, animals, rocks, sands and human being. So if we as Human beings want to leave by depending on this environment. Basing on trees, human beings are using trees for building activities and constructional activities. Also trees give us oxygen that supports our lives and other animals.
In young developing country like Tanzania, the huge number of people are poor that they cannot afford to buy electric bills, an gas for cooking. The poorest situation in Tanzania leads does people cutting down trees for making charcoal all over the country. In every city in town in Tanzania; we are witnessing a lot of charcoal sucks are needed by the people in towns and cities. Cities like Dar es Salaam, Arusha, Mwanza, etc witnessing a lot of people who are coming with sacks of charcoal from different villages.
Dar es Salaam is the biggest city in Tanzania--- more than five million population where are 95 percentage are using charcoal, where 4% of people are using gas energy and 1% of using electric energy.
The most loads of these charcoal are coming from the central regions of Tanzania; like Singida, Dodoma, Tabora. In regions like Kioma, Kagera, Shinyanga and Mwanza the the number of plant species and animal species are decreasing in high capacity. This is because the number of plant species are being cut down by human beings.
So now because people are cutting down trees with continuation activities, there are of number of huge outcomes that originate from those activities. These outcomes are like soil erosion, draught, changes of climate and weather conditions etc.
Therefore for that reasons there are measures that we have to put forward in our lives so as to rehabilitate our environment. These measures are planting trees in the areas that there are scarcity of trees, also reducing the number of cattle movements in Maasai lands. Also the government should cut off the tax for gas and reduced the price for electricity so as to be affordable for every Tanzanian.
