Mgongo kati wa Bahari Hindi Kusini Magharibi (kwa Kiingereza: Southwest Indian Ridge) unapatikana upande wa kusini wa Afrika kwenye Bahari Hindi na kwenye Bahari Atlantiki.

Sawa na migongo mingine kati ya bahari huo umetokea pale ambako mabamba ya gandunia yaani mapande ya ganda la Dunia hukutana chini ya bahari. Kwenye mstari ambako mabamba hayo yanakutana kuna ufa unaoruhusu magma na lava kupanda juu kutoka koti ya Dunia kama mstari wa volkeno chini ya maji. Miamba hiyo yenye hali ya kiowevu inaganda inapotoka nje na kuingia katika maji ya bahari, hivyo kujenga safu ndefu ya milima.
Mgongo kati ya Bahari Hindi ya Kusini Magharibi unatenganisha Bamba la Afrika na Bamba la Antaktiki na kuunganisha Mgongo kati wa Atlantiki na Mgongo kati wa Bahari Hindi kwa urefu wa km 7700.
Mabamba hayo yanatawanya kwenye mgongo kati wa Bahari Hindi ya Kusini Magharibi yakiachana kila mwaka mnamo milimita 14-30.[1]
