Hi I blocked for 3 days you after I saw how you played around with our wikipedia:bots page which is a structurally important page which I unfortunately cannot protect as it is for use by bot operators. If you do not know the sandbox system kindly follow the instructions on the welcome box above. We appreciate non-Swahili speakers who can help with templates and to some extent with stubs but we definitively do not need people who know no or only a bit bad Swahili to play around. Please communicate before trying other edits. Wasalaam! Kipala (majadiliano) 17:33, 23 Desemba 2011 (UTC)
- Please unblock me. I will stay off of the Wikipedia:Bots page. That was just a mistake for me. Ian Streeter (majadiliano) 19:42, 25 Desemba 2011 (UTC)
.. Block is on for 3 days. Then we will see. Do not try to edit without prior consultation afterwards. Kipala (majadiliano) 21:49, 25 Desemba 2011 (UTC)
- What do you neseccarily mean by this? The only page I will only edit anyway is Wikipedia:Makala kwa ufutaji, which I get to make my opinions on proposed deletions (but what if I type in Swahili wrong? Reply as soon as you can.) Ian Streeter (majadiliano) 22:16, 25 Desemba 2011 (UTC)
- Actually, I just read a whole MKU (makala kwa ufutaji) sentence and translated it to English and made sense. So when I translate my words, I don't think most of my Swahili would be wrong. Ian Streeter (majadiliano) 22:31, 25 Desemba 2011 (UTC)
- Let's see if the translation works. What does this mean: hoja (wewe nijisikie nzuri)? If you get it right, then I'm sure the translator works. Ian Streeter (majadiliano) 22:51, 25 Desemba 2011 (UTC)
- Please do not try to put Kiswahili in these pages. You do not know the language and your translation device is good for nothing. Besides you have in fact started setting up new entries (vigezo) without prior consultation which are not understood. We have no need for more English and bad attempts at Swahili. I warn you the last time now. Otherwise you are out. Kipala (majadiliano) 21:09, 26 Desemba 2011 (UTC)
- Then what language should I speak in? Ian Streeter (majadiliano) 22:47, 26 Desemba 2011 (UTC)
- Dear Ian you can gladly participate in discussions in English, most of our contributors know that. Yo do not know Kiswahili and you are not able to make changes in Kiswahili; using your translation device gives bad results which only leaves us with the job to clean up. That is why I tell you not to put anything into the article space without prior consultation. So if you like to write entries better look for a different wikipedia whose language you know.
