Frédéric Chopin
Frédéric Chopin (jina la Kipoland: Fryderyk ; 22 Februari 1810 kulingana na cheti cha kuzaliwa - 17 Oktoba 1849; pengine, tarehe 1 Machi au 10 Machi zimetajwa kama siku yake ya kuzaliwa) alikuwa mtunzi wa Opera na mpigaji kinanda mashuri kutoka nchini Poland. Ni mtunzi muhimu kabisa kwa nchi ya Poland. Ingawaje kuna baadhi ya tungo zake zilikuwa vigumu sana kuzipiga, na zilibahatika kuwa moja kati ya tungo zilizowahi kutungwa vema.[1][2]

Ni hapa Paris ya kwamba alikuwa maarufu kama mtunga muziki. Alianzisha mapenzi na wanawake mbalimbali lakini hakubahatika kufunga ndoa. Afya yake ilikuwa hafifu muda wote akafa mjini Paris kwa sababu ya ugonjwa wa kifua kikuu mwaka 1849 akiwa na umri wa miaka 39 pekee. Alizikwa Ufaransa lakini moyo wake ulipelekwa Poland na kuzikwa huko katika kanisa mjini Warshawa.
