Falsafa ya dini
Falsafa ya dini ni utafiti wa kifalsafa kuhusu mada na mawazo makuu ya dini mbalimbali[1] na jinsi yanavyoathiri mwenendo wa watu binafsi na katika jamii.
Majadiliano kuhusu mambo hayo yalianza zamani na kujitokeza katika maandishi ya kwanza ya wanafalsafa wa Ugiriki wa Kale.
Utafiti huo unaenea kwa matawi mengine ya falsafa kama vile metafizikia, epistemolojia na maadili.[2]
Falsafa ya dini ni tofauti na falsafa ya kidini kwa kuwa inajadili masuala yanayohusu umbile la dini kwa jumla, si kuchunguza masuala yanayotokezwa na imani ya dini fulani. Hivyo inaweza kuchangiwa na watu wa dini yoyote na vilevile watu wasio na dini.[3]
