Misa

Misa ya fahari ya karne ya 15.

Misa ni adhimisho la ekaristi hasa likifuata mapokeo ya Kiroma.

Jina linatokana na maneno ya mwisho ya ibada hiyo ambayo shemasi anaruhusu waamini kuondoka kisha kubarikiwa na askofu au padri aliyeongoza misa hiyo: Ite, Misa est.

Wengi wanahusisha neno hilo na neno la Kilatini missio, kwa maana ya utume: kwamba aliyeshiriki ibada, sasa anatumwa kuwashirikisha wengine matunda yake, hasa amani ya Yesu Kristo.
